Not quite a year ago a friend of a member of my family passed away after a battle with cancer. I did not know her well but knowing her made a difference in my life.
Before she passed she instucted her daughter to give a book to her friends as a reminder of what life is. My cousin believed that the message from her friend and the book had to be shared by many.
The book is entitle, "The Traveler" by Daren and Daniel Simkin. It was first published in 2008 by Farrar, Straus and Giroux.
This is a children's book. The words are simple, the illustrations are simple and the message about life is extremely simple - don't waste time searching for "happy" in all the wrong places. "Happy" is all around you.
